DBL Shot Cafe: Vision Turned Reality

DBL Shot Café Berwick may be a brand-new café to Berwick but the vision has been in the works for decades.

Winepress Church has been at the centre of the community in and around Berwick since its inception in 1990. For over 30 years, we have worked tirelessly to bring together people from all walks of life and support those that need it, when they need it the most.

Casey Connections and Beyond

If you’re a Berwick local, then you may have happened upon our very first foray into the café scene some time ago. Casey Connections, which opened its doors to Berwick locals on Berwick Main St in the early 2000s, served up fantastic coffee, and incredible food, and connected with many residents of Berwick and beyond. Alongside the café was an op shop which now operates from The HOPE Centre on 40 Intrepid St, Berwick (just around the corner from us!). We loved connecting with so many fantastic people for many years until the café closed. We saw how good food and coffee bring people together and this planted the seed that would eventually become DBL Shot Café!

Connecting with Community

One of our core values is to support those that need it most. Winepress Church has supported the people of the City of Casey with the Christmas Single Parent Dinner, which blessed hundreds of parents and kids each year, as well as a food bank, youth and young adult services, playgroups, and more. We also support Australian and international missions that help to fight human trafficking and poverty.

Supporting the City of Casey

Purchasing from DBL Shot Café helps support the work that we do in the local community, as well as supporting local businesses. Our coffee is locally sourced from the fantastic Zest Speciality Coffee Roasters and our food is sourced from many local and national producers.

We love to support our community and we hope that you can partner with us in this exciting journey!
